The activity of the Tata factory unit

The Tata car-component manufacturing unit of the Tom-Ferr Zrt. (private corporation),located in the Tata industrial park, directly at the M1 highway with a 4400m2 manufacturing interface and 440m2 office department / office block, is trying to serve its present and future partners with the highest quality in response to the automotive requirements.

Our team consisting of 50 members ensures the full settlement of the buyer’s requirements with their continuous high level work and service.

The early high precision tube cutting – done by three cutting machines- was followed up by the cold-working processes, pressing, punching, tube processing, tube bending and welding operations which has led to an expansion of the profile of the automotive industry/business line.

Further machine/automatic investments are based on the future demand defined by our customers.

In the year of 2009 our company has shipped 4.5 million worked parts to its business partners which reported as 2900 tones of raw material.

First of all, our goal is to reach the leading position in the processing of tube parts and to keep a sustainable development.

The collaboration with our customers led us to the chance to start processing of the high-strength DP600, DP800 steel tubes for the seat frame elements in the region for the first time.

Tom - Ferr is ready to support our future customers with our extensive experiences keeping disperse of these raw materials widespread range and volume.

The majority of the Hungarian automotive component manufacturers serve as a supplier for Magyar Suzuki Zrt, while the rest play an important role in the supply chain of the neighbor countries’ car factories.

We take part in this dynamically developing market by the distribution of the EN 10305-1, EN 10305-2, EN 10305-3, EN 10305-5 highly standardized and precisely cut steel tubes and hollow sections.

In 2004, our company started the negotiation with the automotive industry parts manufacturers – known as the members of the AUTOMITIVE industry.

During this time our company became an A categorized supplier for the automotive companies.

The passed few years made us clear the special expectations of the sector’s suppliers concerning the steel products, their level of processing, the standardization of the processes and the workmanship of the co-workers.
