For the successful fulfillment of these objectives accurate, timely and continuously controlled measuring instruments are used.

The technological assessment of the automotive steels

The mechanical and technological tests on the received automotive steel tubes are done by type ZD 40 ripping machine:

• Ripping test: The ripping tests are done according to the standards EN 10002-1; 2001 till the 40 mm diameter ripping within the tube to define if the received values are accurate for the shipping requirements and if they do fulfill the customer’s needs.
• Flattening test and expansion / counter boring test. The flattening tests are done according to the standards EN 10233 and the counter boring tests are done according to the EN 10234 to ensure that the tubes fulfill the requirements needed for further forming in the automotive sector.
• In some cases, these tests must be carried out more strictly than set in the standards as the forming on the pipes reach a certain extent after which it is necessary.

The results of the tests are stored in a computer system.

 

To check the preciseness of the cut on our products, we purchased a C3 10.7.5 coordinate measuring machine, which is able to control a variety of sizes also on more complex parts. These measured values are stored and evaluated.

The measured values are compared with all 3D models of the part, receiving a precise, easily definable picture of all sizes, deformations, while indicating the degree of variability by a color scale.

Beyond the point- wise comparison, numerous opportunities are available for the preparation of the measurement protocol.

Tensile test : Tensile test have been made according EN10002-1 2001 standard up to 40 mm on the tube outside diameter to verify that the incoming materials fit with the delivery conditions and requests of the customers.
